Review: Dynamite by BTS Deserved It's #1 Debut

From the release of their debut single, BTS has been a pop sensation. They made their first appearance on the Hot 100 in 2017 with their hit song MIC Drop and it was all up hill from there. Now, the k-pop group has achieved four top 10 hits, including Fake Love, Boy With Luv, ON, and now Dynamite, the groups first #1 single.

Anyone who knows me and my taste in music knows that I love a good key change. On Dynamite, the BTS boys delivered that and much more. While the production and instrumental was relatively generic, that was more than made up for. This song has a very fun and upbeat vibe. I found myself dancing along as I listened. This is pretty common place for them, as the boys have a very positive energy and a knack for putting out enjoyable music. Every member of BTS is extremely talented and I wouldn't have expected anything less than being a great song to come from them. Overall, I think they killed this. The only question now: after debuting at #1 on the Hot 100, can they maintain that spot for another week or will they take a fall? Only time will tell.
